Release & Re-align – Yoga with Rope Wall
Develops alignment, stability, and extension
Level 2: Mondays 6:00pm – 7:15pm
Level 1: Wednesdays 7:30pm – 8:45pm
Yoga class inspired by the Iyengar method which dynamically weaves together an exploration of postural aligment and the efficient use of props, such as yoga ropes. Each class focuses on a particular category of asanas: standing poses, backbends, foward bends, twists, inversions, restoratives. Class includes breath awareness exercises and heart-centered meditations inspired by Vipassana techniques.
Level 1: Class focuses on beginner level asanas and outlines the basic foundations in the exploration of postural alignment. Class is suitable for students with no prior experience using yoga ropes.
Level 2: Class focuses on beginner/intermediate level asanas and offers an opportunity to explore deeper and more subtle aspects of postural alignment. Prior experience using yoga ropes is suggested.
